  
EL FIGUERAL owned by David and
Angeles is a 80,000m2
Finca (farm) situated in the lower River Ebro Valley. Located
within a National Park that includes a designated bird sanctuary,
where it is possible to see eagles soaring below the peaks of the
Mount Carlo range, it is a haven surrounded by mountains and the
magnificent River Ebro famous for its large catfish. The farm grows mandarin, peaches,
cherries, pears, olives and a fig tree (planted over 200 years ago)
and has been located on this beautiful and spectacular
site for over 400 years.
In 2008 we undertook a major
reconstruction program that increased the size of the Masia from 90m2
to around 300m2. The new look Masia boasts a modern
feeling of light and space throughout with 21st centaury comfort
while still maintaining much of the original character
El Figueral offers the
opportunity for an amazing family holiday, this area of Cataluña is
not one of the big, famous tourist area of Spain so life moves at a
very different pace, you can forget the hustle and the bustle of the
Southern Coastal resorts and relax at a more gentle pace in this
beautiful mountainous area of River Ebro Delta. Enjoy the village
atmosphere of Benifallet or any of the many surrounding
villages of this real traditional area of Spain, try one of the many
restaurants and bars or join in one of the fiesta held in the
villages through July to September.
